Hotel Phillips is a downtown Kansas City art-deco landmark styled with hip atmosphere. With a contemporary vintage luxury featuring lush accommodations and superb service, Hotel Phillips carries a rich tradition of excellence into the 21st century.
Built in 1931 for what seemed like a fortune at the time ($1.6 million), it was KC’s tallest hotel at 20 stories. In 2001, a renovation that cost more than 10 times what it cost to build the hotel brought it up to modern standards with modern amenities, while keeping its Europeans flavor. Rooms run $139 and up.
