The dinner menu features steak, buffalo, elk, salmon and other wild game meat, while their famous pot roast sandwich, bean soup and buffalo Reuben sandwich top the lunch menu. Visited by celebrities, US Presidents and foreign royalty, this historic steakhouse is a "must see" for anyone visiting Denver! Overall Food Value Service CleanlinessWow, I've never eaten at a restaurant where the walls are decorated with animal heads. Buckhorn had the strangest menu I have ever seen. Elk, quayle, rocky mountain oysters (bull testicles), snake, aligator, buffalo, etc, etc. It is certainly worth a trip down there to experience it. The atmosphere is worth the price of dinner itself. Also...they have a bar upstairs if dinner isn't your thing.
