211 Clover Lane originally opened in 1992 as a quaint-yet-elegant restaurant in the established Louisville neighborhood of St. Matthews. While the restaurant has maintained its name and original stylish ambience, it has evolved into a renowned city and regional destination for fine food. Chef Troy Schuster and owner Andrew Smith believe that the best food is locally grown. They make every effort to support local farmers and use their products whenever possible. The menu, therefore, changes daily to reflect the season and to showcase the finest in local ingredients. Fresh meat, fish, and poultry arrive at the restaurant daily.
Located at the Colony Center in St. Matthews, 211 evokes an atmosphere of the French countryside. The restaurant’s interior is decorated simply with fine French and American antiques, and the soft music and gentle lighting create the perfect atmosphere in which to enjoy wonderful food and company. The patio area is just as charming for those interested in al fresco dining. Tues–Sat 11:30am - 2:30pm, 6pm – 10pm; Sun 10:30am – 2:30pm; Closed Mondays.
