April 23, 2008 // Dollar General today announced a multi-year agreement with Chicagoland Speedway to be the title sponsor for the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the 1.5-mile tri-oval. The Dollar General 300 Powered by Coca-Cola on July 11 will mark the first ever Nationwide Series night race at Chicagoland Speedway.

"We are thrilled to partner with a tremendous company like Dollar General for our Nationwide Series race in July," said Matthew Alexander, president of Chicagoland Speedway. "Each year, we strive to exceed our fans' needs by providing the best possible service to every guest who comes to our facility. Partnering with Dollar General has enabled us to align ourselves with a corporation that shares the same philosophy, as they have a long-standing tradition of customer satisfaction."

In addition to the title sponsorship deal with Chicagoland Speedway, Dollar General is the entitlement sponsor for the No. 32 and No. 10 cars for Braun Racing in 14 Nationwide Series races this season. Brian Vickers, who ranks 19th in points in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, will pilot the No. 10 Dollar General car at Chicagoland Speedway for the Dollar General 300 Powered by Coca-Cola Nationwide Series race.  (From ChicagolandSpeedway.com)
